Come & play at Acadia! We are a live-music venue in the heart of the historical West Bank Minneapolis, connecting community with local and non-local artists! (as well as delicious cheese curds)

We strive to provide transparent options for all artists, so that beginners & seasoned bands can pick the setup that makes the most sense for them. 

We offer two options for compensation for artists for their performances: A. Cover charge or B. Percentage of bar sales (free show for the public) 

Artists that are confident in their draw can set the cover charge as they see fit. Cover split begins at 80/20 in favor of the artist, & that leftover 20% is used to pay our door staff. If you supply a door person, then your cut of the door will increase by the percentage spelled out on the form.

 If you choose the free show, you will get 15% of bar sales for the duration of your performance. 

We recommend that bands who are drawing their crowd from our venue’s neighborhood, choose the option for taking a percentage of bar sales and offering a free show. 

Weekend slots are the most sought after, and will be given on a first-come first-serve basis as well as with the satisfaction of the following requirements:

The house requires that you can draw a crowd of 50-100 people & have a minimum three-hour performance, for Friday through Sunday shows. We will require you to confirm this information before scheduling you into our weekend calendar. 

You will be required to run your own sound for your show. We have speakers, five mics & stands, a house kit, and a sound system you may utilize during your show. 

Load-in time is a minimum of one hour prior to show start. If you wish to have more time to set-up you are free to arrive at your leisure, as long as it is an hour prior or more.
